Today is the 3rd Day of India vs England 4th Test Match. Ashwin-Kuldeep duo was so handy with the ball for India. India were batting at 219/7 at the end of Day 2. Today Dhruv Jurel and Kuldeep Yadav came to bat and India was able to add 88 more runs to the score card. Dhruv Jurel was outstanding, he showed a very good fight. He scored 90 off 149 and India end their innings at 307. Later on when Ashwin-Kuldeep came for bowling they were so tricky. He out played England with his spin maestro.

India 1st Innings, Day 3 :

After remaining not out on Day 2, Dhruv Jurel and Kuldeep showed a good resistant on Day 3 also. Kuldeep got bowled by the veteran James Anderson. He faced 131 balls and scored 28 runs with 2 boundaries. Wicket keeper Dhruv Jurel has batted superbly in the morning he was a lone warrior for India. He scored an important 90 runs off 149 deliveries, In his innings he smacked 4 over boundaries and 6 boundaries.

Rather than him Jaiswal scored 73 off 117 and Shubman Gill scored 38 of 65. Shubman Gill is not so well in the 1st innings of Test match through out his carrier. He averages only 26 in the 1st innings. Shoaib Bashir got a five-fers, 5/119. Tom Hartley got 3/68 and James Anderson got 2/48.

England 2nd Innings :

After restricting India on 307 England were leading by 46 runs. They lost their 1st wicket in the 5th over on 19 runs and lost the second wicket also on the very next ball. After that early blow Zak Crawly and Joe Root makes a 46 runs partnership. Then after falling Joe Root again Zak Crawly and Johnny Bairstow makes 45 runs together. That was the last remarkable partnership. Then one after one fell so cheaply to spin mystery of Ashwin-Kuldeep Duo.

With a heavy struggle England reached on 145 in expense of all their valuable wicket. Zak Crawly was lone fighter in their innings, he scores 60 of 91 with 7 boundaries. Johnny Bairstow scored 30 off 42. England lost all their wickets to spinner. They set target of 192 for India.

Ashwin-Kuldeep Duo :

In the spin heaven of Ranchi Ashwin-Kuldeep duo was a nightmare for English batsmen. They has no answer to this duo. Ashwin started with Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope in successor delivery on his 3rd over. Then he again got the pad of veteran Joe Root who scored a century in the 1st innings. Then Kuldeep Yadav knocked over Zak Crawly with a very beautiful delivery. After that blow England were in no fight they kept falling cheaply in a regular interval.

Ravichandran Ashwin got a fifer by spending 51 runs in his 15.5 overs and Kuldeep Yadav got a four fer with spending just 22 runs in his 15 over. He was just unplayable to them. This Ashwin-Kuldeep duo confirmed the end of England innings on just 145.

After completing 500 wickets Ravichandran Ashwin levels the record of Anil Kumble for most numbers of five-fers in test. Now they both have 35 five-fers. Anil Kumble got 35 in 132 tests but Ashwin levels it in just 99 tests. World wide he is now on 4th of the list for most five-fers in in test. Muralitharan is topping the table with 67 five-fers in 133 tests, Shane Warne is at 2nd with 37 five-fers in 145 tests, R Hadlee is at 3rd with 35 five-fers in just 86 tests.

Rohit Sharma completes 4000 runs in test matches. He has done this in his 100th test innings.
