Divine DCP Are In ILT20 Qualifier 2 !!!

DCP are Into The Qualifier 2 in ILT20. The Eliminator match of the International T20 League took place in Dubai. It was Abu Dhabi Knight Riders vs Dubai Capitals. It was a crucial match to secure a spot in the Qualifier 2, where the loser of the first qualifier would be the opponent. Dubai Capitals displayed a dominant performance, defeating ADKR by a remarkable margin of 85 runs. With this victory, they have advanced to the Qualifier 2.

Captain Sunil Narine of ADKR won the toss and elected to bowl first, while DC captain Sam Billings expressed his preference for batting first. He expected that dew might be a great factor for second innings. Where batting will be easy as spinner will face difficulty in gripping and fast bowlers also will not be as good as early.

After choosing to bat first, DC lost their first wicket at 15 runs and the second wicket at 29 runs. They managed to score 49 runs in the first powerplay, at the expense of 2 important wickets. Opener Tom Banton scored 44 runs off 31 balls with 7 boundaries. Captain Sam Billings scored a quick 46 runs in just 26 balls with 2 boundaries and 2 over boundaries. Later on, Sikandar Raza played a very good cameo, scoring 40 runs in just 19 balls with 5 boundaries and an over boundary.

Sabir Ali Rao has taken 2 wickets by spending 35 runs in 3 overs. David Willey, Joshua Little, and Fabian Allen have taken one wicket each. Ravi Bopara and Sabir Ali Rao were the most expensive for ADKR. The average score of this ground was around 160-165. Therefore, ADKR has conceded 20 or more runs than the par score.

Second Half Of The Match :

ADKR, chasing a target of 189, suffered an early blow in their innings when their key batsman Jason Roy was dismissed by Scott Kuggeleijn in the third ball. Olly Stone followed suit and claimed another ADKR opener in the final ball of the second over. The DCP bowlers managed to outplay the ADKR openers. With their score at 29, ADKR lost their third and fourth wickets, crumbling under the pressure exerted by the DCP bowlers. They lost four crucial wickets and could only muster 34 runs on the board. ADKR struggled to contend with DCP’s bowling attack, leading to frequent dismissal.

Now Dubai Capitals are waiting for their opponent . The looser between MI Emirates and Gulf Giants match will face them in Qualifier 2 . MI Emirates vs Gulf Giants match will be played on 14 February at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The Qualifier 2 will be played at Sharjah, 8:00 IST. And The Grand Finale match of this on going ILT20 match will be played on Saturday 17 February. All The matches are telecasting in Jio Tv and Zee5 App and Web Site and Zee Network for TV .
